the years....I never grow tired of looking for the horses...I wish I

could go out every day....

How it Began

Thirty years ago, what started out as a regular camping trip with our two children to the Twin Peaks area, we found some horses. Realizing that they were wild horses, our interest in them grew, which very rapidly turned into love for these beautiful wild animals. To this day, we still spend many weekends in the great country, following the families, watching their foals born in the spring, seeing new bands come into the area. Now its our grandchildren's turn to see and enjoy them. Hopefully, someday they will be able to take their children out to this very same area and still be able to watch and learn about the life of the Wild Horses.

Twin Peaks is 55 miles long and 35 miles wide, covering almost 800,000 square acres. It is a high desert area, home to the wild horses and wildlife. Spring it is alive with the color of wild flowers.

Twin Peaks in located in the North Eastern part of California and North Western part of Nevada. It is high desert country, consisting of 800,000 acers. Juniper trees and sage brush scattered the hillsides. The amount of natural springs in the area is amazing. In the spring, the countryside is alive with wild flowers of all colors.
